Mrs Julia A Washburn dies after brief illness at her daughter’s home in Alma. Born January 14, 1863 near Pontiac, she married William J Washburn in 1878 and lived in Oakland and Gratiot counties before moving to Alma in 1917. Survived by five children including Mrs Chas Murphy and Carl H Washburn. two sisters also survive.
