First infantile paralysis case reported in Gratiot Co

A 16 year old girl Miss Loulae Basin from St. Louis contracted infantile paralysis while living with the McLarens on West Center Street. She was taken Tuesday to the pest house for care, with hopes of recovery. Authorities say there is no immediate danger to others and steps were taken per state health guidance to prevent spread.
