Son of Mr and Mrs Otto Sanderhoff born March 3 1908 died Friday November 17 at 4am after illness. Freddie departed after illness, funeral at Woodworth avenue home, Riverside cemetery. Mr and Mrs R H Erwin traveled to Detroit for the death of Mr Erwin s sister in law. On the way home Mrs Carrie McGillivray died of heart neuralgia before Dexter. A double funeral followed in Jackson with services for Mrs Irwin and Mrs McGillivray. The two couples had jointly owned a Woodlawn cemetery lot. both wives were buried beside their husbands.

Dog hunt spans fourteen townships to fatal sheep attack
James Oberlin of Sumner Township reported a barking dog killed one sheep and bit another south of Woodbine farm after dawn Monday. A mob pursued an Alma-bred dog across fourteen townships as shots were fired but the dog eluded capture.
