Pollasky announces The Modio Shoe House in Gratiot County's new block. The showroom features a full line of men women and children's shoes and rubber goods from major manufacturers. TrHaca Michigan November 17 Barney Raynor died in the 1800s and was a long time dealer in tax titles land. After his death guardian A J Raynor transferred Raynor interests in Gratiot county to Jones Porter Lansing with a 1000 mortgage. Jones Porter began land sales to satisfy the mortgage but sales were slow leaving 10000 due in taxes. Foreclosure suit filed recent. Subpoenas served on about 200 Gratiot county residents who believed they held perfect titles now co-defendants in foreclosure liens case.
