Car Crash Fatality Struck Man From Wagon On East Superior Street
A 23 year old man identified as David Hannafin died Monday after a wagon he rode in was struck by an automobile driven by Victor Slater. The collision threw Hannafin onto the pavement near the bridge on East Superior street in dark, stormy conditions. Bystanders rushed him to Brainerd hospital, where internal injuries were deemed fatal. Reports differ on whether Slater or the wagon rider contributed to the accident.
