Two Days Session Held This Week At Lansing Missionary Convention
The twenty ninth annual Lansing district Woman's Foreign Missionary Society convention of the M E church met Tuesday and Wednesday with about 60 delegates. Highlights included welcome by Mrs G W Pringle, remarks by Mrs John Seaver and Mrs A W Simmons report on growing membership and new auxiliaries in Lyons and Sebewa, plus notes on Mrs H B Taylor's longtime service and the district’s past achievements. The program featured devotional sessions, music by local young people, and reports from district officers with ongoing fundraising and standard bearer work.
