Old Resident Dead at Lansing. Malinda Forsythe
Malinda Forsythe a longtime Lansing area resident died at her daughter’s home Sunday morning. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 PM from the Methodist church with Rev Brownlow officiating and burial in Riverside cemetery. Born December 25 1841 in York county near Toronto she married Mathue H Udette and had six children. The family moved to Gratiot County Michigan in 1880. Surviving are her husband James T Robinson of Lansing six children and several grandchildren. Also note a temporary appointment of James R Campbell as policeman at $5 per week by the town council.
