Railroads urged to expand Durand facilities amid freight delays
Chairman Glasgow of the state railroad commission said the Gram Trunk and Ann Arbor railroads should greatly expand Durand facilities. He noted delays of three to four days, sometimes eight or nine, due to inadequate warehouse and dock capacity. Up to 105 cars move between roads in busy times, far above the usual 60 to 80.
