An annual benefit game between the Masons and Odd Fellows is set for next Tuesday at Jon Davis Field at two. Lineups include J W Blakely as Mason pitcher along with a strong infield. the IOOFs promise capable players and umpiring by DO Adams and Frank Gray. Tickets cost twenty five cents with a band concert as a feature and changes possible before game day.

Frank Parker reports from Washington that five local R F D carriers handled 41 572 pieces of mail in April weighing 5 417 pounds. Parcels post totaled 776 items averaging two pounds each among five carriers. An extra pouch will speed incoming mail, enabling first delivery Monday morning instead of afternoon, with Detroit mail advancing to Sunday for early delivery.

Pitcher Highfield hurled well, Mack Went doubled twice and Captain Perry caught a brilliant game as Alma built a lead before finishing with solid defense and timely hitting. The win follows Alma’s 3-2 start, with two wins and a tie, as they open the season promising a strong record.
