Gratiot County Republican Club Plans Alma Banquet
The Gratiot County Republican Club has arranged its annual banquet for Alma on Friday evening March 28 at Realty Opera House. About 300 banqueters will be seated with a raised section for those watching the oratory program to follow an elaborate menu. Toastmaster will be Senator Smith of St Johns with several senators and Speaker Gilbert Currie expected to attend. Tickets cost $1 per plate, available in Alma at the Record office or from Postmaster C F Brown and numerous other local agents listed across the county.
