It also lists several physicians including homeopathic doctor E A Bagley and M D Suydam, with office locations and hours. Local editor notes Illness and social events, plus reports of residents leaving for Canada and Michigan, farm activity, sugar bush openings, and a large community meeting schedule.
Alma Michigan village minutes from March 12 1801 record the Common Council sessions with President Bagley trustees Tubbs Dunham and Young and absent Brown Hall McCullough. Clerk James G Kiaces presents a detailed financial statement for the year ending March 6 1801 including receipts deposits and fund allocations across general highway water and cemetery funds.
