Death of Mrs Matilda Rindge at 86 in Alma
Mrs Matilda Rindge aged 86 died at the home of Mrs C Derushe near Alma last Thursday at 4 p.m. after a life in the area for fifteen years. She leaves two sons Alfred and Charles, and two sisters Mrs Lindley of Chicago and Mrs Dr Flowers, the latter a former Alma physician who died two years ago. Funeral held at Convis store at 2 p.m. last Saturday, Rev Clapp officiating, interment Riverside cemetery.

A Pompeii farmer's team ran away after being frightened at Almast Wednesday, bolting uptown from the Manufacturing Co. The first annual function between Alpha Theta and Zeta Sigma Literary Societies was held Monday evening in Wright Hall.
