Mrs Eliza Post Died In Alma After Long Residency
Eliza Mayeralt Post, longtime resident of Alma and Gratiot County, died Tuesday morning at age 84 in the home of Mrs. Frank Gilkin south of Alma. Born in England, she lived in Treland and Rochester before moving to Clinton County and later Alma, where she contributed funds for Post vault and chapel in Riverside Cemetery. Her life spanned migrations and public service in the community. Coach Mullin’s Alma High meets Midland Friday in a key city game, seeking revenge after a recent three point loss to Midland on the local floor.

Robbery Targets City Insurance Agent in St Louis
About 4:30 Thursday evening Thurlay Charles Fore, an agent for the Metropolitan Insurance Co, was relieved of money by two armed men near the Hall Coal and Lumber Co office.
