A new permanent organization to improve Alma area roads was formed in the council rooms with Simon Messinger as president C F Brown secretary and G M Ward treasurer. Fundraising by business men will buy gravel tile and wages for shovelers and a road supervisor. A labor solicitation committee from farmers was named with J S Caple C F Brown S Messinger LH Hayt and Win Wilson.

Jail Delivery Ends In Jailhouse Breakout At Tedden
Sheriff McCullough reports two prisoners Frank Wright and Robert Mason escaped from jail at Tedden during a night disturbance. A tunnel and improvised crowbar used to breach the wall enabled the escape while another inmate slept. No recapture news yet. Also noted is a remarkable antique scalp and trophy discovery on Lt.
