The Gratiot County Draft Board postponed the physical examination for draft entrants from class one to Monday at the Alma draft office. The delay stems from questionnaire errors and a backlog at the Lansing district board over industrial and agricultural classifications. A new rule requires proof of marriage since May 1, 1917 to show it was not to avoid the draft, causing worry for some registrants.
