Far House Bed On Chas Faunce Farm West Of Forest Hill
On Monday evening about eight at the Faunce home on the old Henry Sandall farm north of Forest Hill fire destroyed the house and its contents. Charles Faunce and family were at revival meetings when the blaze started, likely from an overheated stove or chimney. Mrs Frank A Leonard of Park Avenue died at 59 on Friday February 21 after long illness. Born Mary A Flannenbeck May 6 1854 near Grand Blanc Genesee County she married Frank A Leonard January 10 1878 near Fenton. Resident of Asia since 1847 she was active in St Johns Episcopal Church Ladies Guild and active in Maccabees Daughters of Rebekah and Eastern Star. Survived by sons Harry Clint and Bertram Chicago and brother B Hollenbeck Fenton. Funeral from St Johns Tuesday at 2 pm Rector J Frank Jackson with Riverside interment.
