Representatives from eight counties in the district met at Reed City to decide on submitting the question of primary reform to district voters. Members and lettered delegates expressed unanimous support, with strong resolutions passed. County committees will be asked to compile a complete Republican poll list. J. N. Edward Allen Smith son of Mr and Mrs B E Smith of this city died in Brainerd Hospital early Saturday after an operation for appendicitis He was born July 10 1895 in Shepardsville Clinton County and spent most of his life in the city He was in the second grade at the Union School and loved by teachers and playmates Funeral services were held Sunday at the Free Methodist church with little friends as pallbearers and burial in Riverside cemetery ACW Wright is spending the day in Detroit.

About thirty-six covered, four hours of wit and fellowship followed a fine menu as Frank R. Hurst acted as toastmaster. Giant Arum Exhibit At Sharrar’s Drag Store Window

Beet raising tips for farmers urged by Sugar Beet Co
