Frank Campbell Died in Los Angeles at 40
Frank Campbell born July 25 1873 on a farm near Alma died February 2 1914 in Los Angeles California after a ten day illness due to heart trouble. He owned Capitol Machine and Model Works in Los Angeles after leaving Michigan in 1908. Funeral services were held in Los Angeles February 7 and his body shipped to Alma for burial beside his parents. He is survived by brothers James Alma and W H Campbell Seattle and sisters Mrs Ira Moody Forest Hill Mrs E H Doane and Mrs N B Udell of Alma.

Fire Destroys Home of Bosta Zink On River Avenue
A Sunday evening fire at the north end of River Avenue gutted the unplastered tar paper lined home of Bosta Zink. The elderly couple barely escaped with their lives. a pet dog died in the back room. WW Bible class members led relief efforts, raising funds and materials to rebuild so the Zinks can resume housekeeping. Messinger of St. Louis visited his brother Simon over the weekend.
