Two Interesting Sessions At Local Sunday School Convention
Two sessions of the Alma convention were held in the Baptist church last Sunday with delegates from all local Sunday schools. The opening three o’clock meeting heard papers by E Scott and Harry Porter on who should attend Sunday school and the value of home visitation. Remarks by J B Sabin, L A Sharp and others followed, stressing primary principles, character building, and normal class work. Evening services featured Rev H E Wiley reading a paper on forces that win in Sunday school work and discussions on organization and duties.
