John Holland a prominent East Ferris farmer died in Waynesboro Mississippi on Monday December 20 after months of illness from Brights disease. His remains were brought home Wednesday evening and the funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the home under the auspices of Sumter KO, T. M. M. with Rev. Whaley of Riverdale officiating. Interment was in Ferrix cemetery.
