College Play by Alpha Theta Young Ladies Impresses Audience
The Alpha Theta society staged a college chapel play last Friday evening with Miss Peters as Anita and Miss Baker as Mrs. Dencon Pippin receiving high praise for natural, poised performances. The rustic woodland setting and well-received cast, including Miss Booth, Miss Harlock, Miss Hunt, Miss Dunning, and Miss Adams, drew strong audience approval and marked the event as the society’s best exhibition to date. The Zeta Sigma Contest later featured an oratorical contest in the College Chapel, where contestants impressed a full house with strong delivery and local support, signaling a promising annual competition ahead.
