East Ferris revival hints at large attendance and local notices
East Ferris reports Rev. Bush assisting Rev. Palmer in revival meetings at Spencer church with a large attendance. A string of local events follows including a family reunion at John McCloskey’s home, health notes on John Holland, farm sales, social group gatherings, and small-town visits. Also advertised are Renne's Pain-Killing Oil and endorsements from F. L. Manning of Jackson. A Scottish rain back-straightening custom is described in a brief ethnographic note.
