Divorce Granted in St Johns Hotel Case
Mrs. Henry Porter, wife of Steele hotel proprietor, is awarded one third of the property in a divorce decree after a long legal battle with testimony from Detroit, Canada, New York and Grand Rapids. The hotel and furnishings will be sold to satisfy $17,000 hotel debt and $1,100 furniture mortgage. remaining proceeds divide one third to Mrs Porter and two thirds to Mr Porter.
