Court calendar lists criminal and chancery cases to be tried in April term at Gratiot County Court. Includes People v. various defendants, liquor sales cases, divorces and equity matters, with numerous named parties and pleadings across both criminal and chancery divisions.
All persons indebted to the village of Alma for late Riverside Cemetery charges are urged to settle with the village clerk immediately. This notice appears from the village authorities and refers to cemetery lot accounts.
The Sauimrwam Company provided to sell the pilper crate for a time to all former guests at the sanitarium. Dr L Bell traveled to Battle Creek Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids last week. Miss Boeitner visited Traverse City over Sunday and returned Monday. New arrivals included Mrs F M Mee of Ann Arbor and her brother H W Lenard of Manistee. Saturdays entertainment featured songs and stories by guests with music by Mrs Berry man and Dr Browning. Luther W McConnel and wife of Chicago arrived and will stay for weeks. Mrs L G Parish of Cleveland visited her sister Miss Cummings and Mr Parish joined for a day. Mrs D M Christian and Miss Clara Woodard of Owosso arrived for an indefinite stay. Mr L H Christian visited from Owosso Saturday and returned Monday. Mr Wm C Chambers of Frankfort owner of the Chambers hotel accompanied Mr Golgrove from Frankfort to stay at the sanitarium for a considerable length of time.
