Adventures of Tad in Bixport Homecoming
Tad Thorne arrives with Polly in the quiet town of Bixport aboard the Mary J. Polly introduces him to Joe Whitney and the Flaggs. They tour the village, view the old meeting house lot, and visit the cemetery where a Pomerania victim lies. Polly explains the inscription and the 1862 gale at George's Banks. Tad feels moved as she narrates the tale.
