Shocking Train Accident and Coliseum Plans

Remarkable operation by Abilene doctors heals bladder hole

Dr. Oakwood with Dr. Steelsmith performed a highly notable surgery sealing a half dollar sized hole in a female bladder. The patient, from afar, sought treatment after two years of post partum injuries and continual pain. The operation was very successful and prompted bemused wonder at the doctors’ future feats.

Abilene National Bank Opens with Notable Officers

The Abilene National Bank opened this morning with C. S. Barker as president and E. D. Humphrey as cashier. A. K. Perry as assistant cashier and F. L. Parker as director join, with Bert Haskins among the staff. The bank boasts well lighted rooms at Second Third and Buckeye, a sound vault, time lock, and solid capital. The city already has five banks, all trusted by the community.
