The Tarborough Press lists weekly publication by George Howard at ten dollars and fifty cents yearly if prepaid or three dollars after the year ends. Short terms under a year cost twenty five cents monthly. Subscriptions cannot be canceled early without arrears. Distance subscribers must prepay or provide a local reference. Advertisements under a square cost one dollar for the first insertion and twenty five cents for each continuation. Longer ads charge per square with court orders and judicial notices at twenty five percent higher. Letters to the editor must be postpaid.

Reverend J. P. Bickus, a Methodist preacher of the Oneida Conference, was arrested in Gates on charges of forging two votes totaling 1400 dollars on a Utica bank.
