Banjo player held on armed robbery charges
Taos musician John Harris, 28, a noted banjo player, is jailed in Taos County on two armed robbery counts. Police say he robbed a San Cristobal home and the Holiday Inn de Taos after dinner, producing a .38 pistol and stealing cash, with $231 recovered. Bond set at $10,000. arraigned Thursday.

Man Charged in Talpa Theft Arraignment Set
James Trujillo, 20, is expected to be arraigned Wednesday on grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing a chain saw and tools from a Talpa residence on December 22. Deputies Nick Jaramillo and Gilbert Vigii arrested him Saturday.
