Fugitive Norbert Young Escapes Taos Jail
Federal fugitive Norbert Young alias Harold, held in Taos County Jail for postal service investigators, escaped in pre dawn hours on Saturday December 17. He had been spotted November 27 at the Holiday Inn by Undersheriff Ruben Abeyta and arrested that day. Deputies did not realize the escape until postal investigators arrived December 20 with a federal warrant.
