Taos Crowned Junior Miss Terese Mares in Pageant
Terese Mares, Taos High senior, won Taos County Junior Miss after a seven-contestant field. First runner-up Sabrina Dickerson earned Highlands University scholarship. Loretta Quintana and others received cash scholarships and savings bonds. Mares will compete in January in Albuquerque for the state title en route to nationals.
