Michelle Rebeer, 34, of 8154 Scotia Lane Liverpool, faced two counts of second degree forgery two counts of first degree falsifying business records and one count of attempted third degree grand larceny after allegedly using her mother's illness and death to defraud Merchants Bank. A white Mercedes was repossessed following the arrest and inquiry by a Sheriff's Department investigator.

Marine Midland Bank foreclosed after the Fasano couple defaulted on two mortgages in the early 1980s, with $256,813.80 owed in principal and charges.
