Husband held in wife's death
A Minoa man Bradford R Daily aged 48 is charged with second degree murder in the stabbing death of his estranged wife Beverly J Daily in the New England Life Insurance Co parking lot on Carrier Circle. He was arrested as he ran toward the Holiday Inn after witnesses saw him attack her as she walked away. A six inch bent kitchen knife and a half emptied bottle of Scotch were found at the scene. Daily was held without bail pending a Wednesday court appearance. Beverly Daily worked for Transportation Consultants Inc and lived at 617% Carbon Street. She was born in Massena and had resided in the Syracuse area 24 years, and was a U S Army Reserve member. He was arraigned before Clay Town Justice Richard Wittenburg.

Crash kills Syracusan on Quarry Road in Town of Sullivan
Warren A. Stewart, 25, of 213 Hawley Ave in Syracuse was killed last night in a one car crash on Quarry Road. His auto skidded 300 feet after overcorrecting from the shoulder, was cast off, and struck a woodpile before he was pronounced dead at Oneida City Hospital.
