Energy audit urges 15 percent saving in public buildings
Albany officials say energy use can be cut by up to 15 percent with minimal cost. Ronald Stewart of Albany State University outlines simple steps like replacing 40-watt bulbs with 35-watt fluorescents and turning off lights. He leads an energy audit of about 5,000 buildings funded by a $1.3 million grant from the state Energy Office.
