Piping sold to cut costs for town highway garage

Albion officials report progress on the town highway garage after selling expired piping for 622 to Bauer Construction Co. of Mannsville. The sale helps defray an estimated 18 000 overrun, with the town board absorbing 12 000. The piping was to heat the concrete floor to prevent slips, but a dispute over warranties and miscommunication stalled work for a year.
