Gunman at Augusta talks with Reagan aide held at club
Charles R Harris of Augusta rammed a pickup through Augusta National Golf Club, brandishing a pistol and taking five hostages including Reagan's aide. Secret Service said Reagan was never in personal danger as Harris was arrested within minutes. Harris faces federal threats charges and possible state kidnapping and assault counts. He collapsed in jail and was hospitalized for observation after hyperventilation.
