The National Weather Service at Hancock Airport predicts rain tonight and tomorrow with a low near 35F and a high around 50 to 55F. Rain chances are 50 percent tonight and 30 percent tomorrow, with winds 5 to 15 mph. A low pressure system brings more wet weather Friday and highs in the 40s to low 50s.
Philadelphia police arrested 27 clergymen for obstructing traffic during a protest over the 44 day school strike. Det. Ronald Stagliano said the ministers locked arms and formed a human chain across the highway and refused to disperse.
In Gleneagles Scotland NATO defense ministers pledged to deploy new nuclear weapons in Europe and to launch a public relations drive to fight anti nuclear sentiment.
