Garner returns to Maverick set after fall on mechanical horse
James Garner resumes filming the new Maverick remake at Warner Brothers, after a six week layoff from a fall off a mechanical horse in the prior shoot. The two hour pilot is slated for Nov 27 completion and Dec 1 NBC broadcast, with possible future horseback work noted by Warner Brothers spokesman.

Storms, snow whip Texas Oklahoma Colorado autos tolls rise
United Press International reports a fresh wave of heavy thunderstorms delivering up to 3 inches of rain across Texas and Oklahoma while snow showers and dense fog hampered travel in the Colorado mountains. Floodwaters receded in parts of Texas though late rains hit the south plains. three highway deaths are unclear if weather related. The National Weather Service notes up to 10 inches of snow on Route 33 near Price Duchesne Utah and over a foot in Colorado mountains.
