Immigrant Dream Ends in Robbery at Chicago Store
Byung Chang 35, a soon to be naturalized citizen, was shot four times during a Robbery at Rainbow Fashions on the near South Side. Three teens fled. a suspect, 19, and two juveniles were charged. Chang built the family business after arriving from Seoul in 1976 and planned to become a citizen on Nov 17. His brother-in-law mourns a “beautiful” man who helped neighbors and supported the community.
