Double suicide deaths of two in West Babylon home
Frederick Hornby a 32 year old bill collector and Dorothy Grant Gunn a 27 year old school teacher were found dead in a gas filled kitchen in West Babylon. Police say it was a double death by own action. Hornby’s estranged wife had learned of his relationship with Gunn. Mrs Hornby left then returned with her attorney Arthur Milligan Jr to discover the scene. Coroner Gordon L Green of Suffolk County alleges double suicide. Gunn taught at a private school in West Islip and was separated from her husband Donald Gunn of Emporium Pa.
