Youngest victim linked to oldest in Atlanta killings
Public Safety Commissioner Lee Brow said investigators have not solved why 28 young black victims were chosen in Atlanta, though a task force with about 90 officers has logged roughly 86,739 hours over 10 months. Court awards boy eight point six million in settlement
In Washington and California a boy who lost limbs after touching a 12,000 volt line near freight cars on July 4, 1978, received an $8,594,749 settlement against Consolidated Rail Corp. The award was approved by Santa Clara County Superior Court and funds will support education and horsemanship pursuits as Steven Throop plans to study biology at Camarillo College after graduation.
