Three guards held by gunman David Wayne for ten hours were released unharmed after a special weapons team stormed the cellblock at Nevada's Maximum Security Prison near Reno. Wayne, 37, surrendered after talks to see his girlfriend Terry Nason. he requested Demerol and had previously seized inmates during an Easter Sunday incident. Edward See, beaten and knifed, remained in stable condition in a local hospital.
