MacPherson emphasizes institution over recruiting at Syracuse

Syracuse coach Dick MacPherson told roundtable attendees that recruiting hinges on the university’s assets, not him. He cited facilities in the Dome, academics, schedule, and administration support, while stressing the need for big linemen and top receivers to challenge rivals. He recalled past recruiting lessons, praised Tim Green, and warned about the regional talent pool in Upstate New York.
