Relentless attacker gets two consecutive life terms

In Chicago, a man described as uncontrollably vicious and depraved received two consecutive 60 year prison terms for slashing and attempting to rape a nun. The nun was stabbed around the eyes, doctors feared blindness, but wounds were superficial. Barnes had been released four months earlier after raping an 81 year old woman.
