University Place Site Chosen for Syracuse Dormitory Plan
Syracuse University submits bid for a $2.5 million men’s dormitory funded by a federal loan program offering $300 million for college housing. The project would house about 700 students, require razing some existing facilities, and include a four story twin wing design with dining, lounge, and recreation space. Construction could start about two months after approval with a 40 year loan at roughly 2.5 percent interest.
