Helicopter search challenged in Chenango marijuana case
A state appellate court ruled that using a police helicopter to view a remote marijuana patch may violate privacy rights. It unanimously overturned convictions of Raymond Abbott and Sharon Jenkins and sent the case back for further deliberation.
