The National Weather Service at Hancock Airport predicts spring like weather tomorrow with partly cloudy skies and a low around 20 to 25. Tonight stays partly cloudy, with highs in the mid 40s and a weekend with a chance of rain from Saturday through Monday. Lows will be in the 30s and high temperatures around 45. New York Court of Appeals held unanimously that police may enter a suspect home without having the search warrant in hand if a magistrate has issued the warrant. The decision upholds the no knock raid at Peter Mahoney’s Colonie residence where cocaine and marijuana were found.
Four workmen riding in a hoist box near Tampa Stadium were killed when the crane boom collapsed during an expansion project for the 1984 Super Bowl. The 130 foot plunge marked the second fatal accident at the stadium in five days.

In a rare case at UCSF Moffitt Hospital, a 3-pound boy was born by C section to a brain dead mother after nine weeks of fetal monitoring. Life support was removed 64 days after admission and the mother died shortly after.
