Cultural Day draws nearly 250 language students to Cicero High
About 250 modern and classical language students from Onondaga Oswego Madison Oneida counties will participate in the Cultural Day program at Cicero High School. French Latin Spanish and German booths open at 9 30 with judging by SUNY and local college professors. Awards in 20 divisions to be announced at 12 30, with outstanding entries advancing to statewide competition. For more information call Norman Parry at 470 3110.

Re entry classes aid inactive nurse
Elizabeth Katona of Community General Hospital outlines a new four week re entry program run by the Deans and Directors of Nursing Education of Onondaga County to help inactive nurses regain skills and ease the local nursing shortage. Beginning April 6, the 60 hour course includes OCC classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and clinical sessions at Community General on Saturdays with optional gerontology clinicals at Van Duyn. The program costs 90 dollars and accepts up to 24 students.
