He suffered eight broken ribs and a collapsed lung as X rays were taken and doctors consulted. Raymond Johnson, Mrs Kevands sisters husband, flew to Tucson to be at his brothers in law bedside. The family awaited word from their daughter Mrs Peggy Kevand Hutson in Bad Homburg Germany and Major Stanley Hutson in Germany awaiting return for the funeral.
