Salina man charged in slaying in home shooting
Joseph P. Capozzi 29 of 108 Marilyn Ave Pitcher Hill was charged with second degree manslaughter after a shooting at his home that left Syracuse man Richard A. Cappa 29 dead. Cappa was found in Capozzi's living room around 1 15 am. Autopsy planned. Cappa had been to see Capozzi's girlfriend Kim Ridgeway 21 who stayed there. Capozzi to be arraigned before Town of Salina Justice Helen H Burnham. Cappa previously linked to a 1974 robbery and a 1973 assault case. Capozzi's wife Margaret witnessed the shooting.
