Boy Scouts and local bank staff assist as the trailer stops at Keith's Loew's Easy Washer and other sites. Syracuse is among 175 communities hosting the tour.

Cars Collide Injuring Four Near Fayetteville
State Police report two-vehicle crash on Route 4 one and a half miles east of Fayetteville injured four people. Stuart Keenan of Bridgeport Ohio suffered facial cuts as his eastbound car skidded and overturned into Leonard Skipper of Genesee Street. Keenan’s wife Thelma and her mother Selma McIntyre sustained minor injuries. Skipper had a forehead contusion and wrist injury. Keenan children Ponna and Vrenda escaped injury. In a separate incident at Liverpool a wagon mishap injured Richard Music and his two daughters at St Joseph’s Hospital. Deputy Sheriff Andrew Tioffiman filed the report.

Fruit Stand Loot Reported At Chuck's Store
Charles LaFair operator of Chuck's fruit stand on Willis Avenue reported burglary this morning. Entrance gained via broken wooden door panel pried with a crowbar. Loot included four cartons of cigarettes three boxes of candy and 12 bags of potato chips valued at 40 dollars.
